First case: the gift card has not yet expired

Second case: the gift card has already expired
If the gift card has already expired, it has then been blocked in the system, and a special operation has already been created for accountancy. Then it’s not possible to undo this operation and go back.
In this case, if you want to give a compensation to your customer, you may want to create a « free » gift card for him, with the face amount of the remaining amount.
